THE Karl McManus Foundation is
asking pharmacists to keep
collection tins on the counter until
they are full, in order to maximise
funds raised.
“This extended appeal will also
give pharmacists the opportunity to
continue educating the public
about Lyme disease prevention at
this crucial time of year - the
beginning of tick season in
Australia,” said the Foundation’s
Director, Dr Mualla Akinci McManus.
Participating pharmacists are also
reminded that if they have run out
of Lyme disease prevention leaflets,
they can download extra copies
from the Foundation’s website,
