AUSTRALIAN-LISTED medication management software company MedAdvisor has announced via the ASX that it has reached the key milestone of one million connected patients with 3.1 million prescriptions having been filled through its MedAdvisor app Tap-To-Refill function, representing $250m in pharmacy sales.
Tap-To-Refill allows customers to save time by refilling prescriptions via their smartphone, tablet or other connected device.
MedAdvisor ceo Robert Read said the milestone highlighted "the growing demand for digital solutions to bring more simplicity and convenience to healthcare."
MedAdvisor's app is connected to more than half of all pharmacies, so with more than 12 million people suffering from chronic disease, "MedAdvisor can significantly improve health outcomes for a much larger portion of the domestic popluation," Read said.
