PHARMACY wholesaler Sigma Healthcare, incorporating Amcal, Discount Drug Stores (DDS), Guardian, Pharmasave, Chemist King and WholeLife pharmacy banner groups, has inked a deal with digital medicines management company MedAdvisor (PD breaking news yesterday).
The two-year pact will support the use of branded versions of the MedAdvisor app by their 600+ pharmacy member network.
The company has hopes that the approximately 200 Sigma Group pharmacies not currently subscribed may also link in.
Total revenue contribution from the arrangement is anticipated to grow, exceeding $1 million per year.
The new agreement means that MedAdvisor now has long-term contracts with three of the four major pharmacy groups, including the Sigma network of brands, TerryWhite Chemmart and Chemist Warehouse.
