NSW Premier Chris Minns has thanked pharmacists for their help administering the flu vaccine.
Speaking at the opening of the Pharmacy Connect Conference last night, Minns said the "vaccination program has been a huge success as well over 1,100 pharmacies have registered with the New South Wales State Vaccine Centre".
Minns said almost 591,000 flu vaccines had been administered by pharmacists in NSW, putting the state "at the forefront of pharmacy-led vaccination efforts in the country".
