THE Welsh government deputy
health minister Vaughan Gething
has announced funding for a
pharmacy-led minor ailments
service to the tune of £750,000,
according to the BBC News.
The stated intention of the plan
is to free up GP time by making
community pharmacists the first
port of call.
The scope of the service
will include consultations and
treatments for indigestion, hay
fever and head lice without needing
