MiSeqDx approval

THE Therapeutic Goods Administration has approved the Australian registration of Illumina’s MiSeqDx system, which is an instrument offering a variety of assays and kits enabling clinical laboratories to “create and deploy next-generation sequencing-based molecular diagnostic testing”. The instrument is now cleared for clinical use in the US, Canada, Argentina, Europe, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines as well as Australia.
