ADVANCED Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) has announced the inaugural winners of four travel scholarships to support attendance at Medicines Management 2025 (MM2025), Australia's largest annual scientific pharmacy conference:
* First Nations Practitioner Scholarship - Melanie Burgess
* Rural or Remote Scholarship - Brynley Cooper
* Sustainability Scholarship - Louis Nguyen
* Early Career Pharmacist Scholarship - Helly Patel.
Dr Kate O'Hara, AdPha Vice President and Chair of the ANZCAP Advisory Board said the calibre of applications received was "truly outstanding" and congratulated the winners.
"It has been a privilege to read the stories of our scholarship winners," she said.
"These scholarships recognise more than individual excellence -- they highlight the diverse ways pharmacists are transforming health outcomes.
"The winners' contributions span Central Australia to major hospitals, from cultural safety to climate action, reflecting the depth and breadth of our profession.
"Together, they embody the values at the heart of AdPha - advancing expertise, improving equity, and shaping the future of pharmacy," Dr O'Hara concluded.
