RAVEN'S Recruitment and the National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association (NAPSA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that awards scholarships to selected first-year pharmacy students to attend major pharmacy conferences and professional events.
The initiative aims to encourage students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend these events, giving them access to business and clinical knowledge, as well as networking opportunities with a range of leading professionals in the industry.
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the future pharmacy workforce, Raven's Recruitment also runs Australia's leading Pharmacy Careers Summit (PCS25), taking place on 04 Jul.
The free and fully virtual event, supported by the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, was recognised at the 2025 Eventeer Awards, with last year's event winning 'Best Event - APAC' and 'Best Summit'.
"NAPSA is committed to delivering more benefits to our members, and allowing them to access the opportunities our vast profession provides," said Sebastian Harper (pictured left), National President of NAPSA.
"Securing this agreement means more pharmacy students will be charting a course for career growth," he added.
Heidi Dariz (pictured right), GM of Raven's Recruitment, said: "We have a deep and long-standing history of supporting pharmacy students, and collaborating with NAPSA on this new scholarship with Seb and his team is something we welcome.
"We trust this initiative will help students who may have otherwise missed out on the opportunity to attend a major conference, giving them invaluable insights into the profession they are joining." KB
