THE US Food and Drug
Administration has approved
Staxyn, a new formulation of
Levitra (vardenafil HCI), for the
treatment of erectile disfunction.
The first ED medication to be
approved in the US in an
orodispersible formulation, Staxyn
10mg is designed to disintegrate on
the patients tongue without the use
of liquid.
Bayer has already applied for
marketing approval in Europe with
the expectation that it will be
okayed later in the year, whilst it is
expected that Staxyn will be
available on the US market within
