GLAXOSMITHKLINE (GSK) has announced current Consumer Healthcare division ceo Emma Walmsley as successor to Andrew Witty in the ceo role for GSK global.
Walmsley joined GSK in 2010 from L'Oreal where, over the course of her 17-year career, she held a variety of marketing and general management roles in the UK, Europe and USA.
Witty retires 31 Mar 2017, at which point Walmsley will take the reins.
