IN ANNOUNCING re-appointed and new members of Ahpra and National Boards, Health Ministers have confirmed the appointment of Dr Miranda Batten as ACT practitioner member to the Pharmacy Board of Australia, with Gail Mulcair joining her as community member.
Seven other board members were newly appointed across five National Boards to serve terms of three years.
Current Ahpra Board Chair Gill Callister was re-appointed as Chair, while Honorary Associate Professor Carmen Parter has been re-appointed as a Board member.
Ahpra CEO Justin Untersteiner welcomed the Ministerial re-appointments to the Ahpra Board, and said the decision reflected confidence in the Board and in Ahpra's reform agenda.
"I thank Ministers for their decision which provides the organisation with the leadership and stability it needs as we work through our significant reform agenda," he said.
