for a possible reclassification
to a general sales listed (GSL)
product by the UK Medicines and
Healthcare Products Regulatory
Agency (MHRA).
This follows an application
through the EU’s centralised
procedure, under which Nexium
Control was approved as a nonprescription
medicine by the
European Commission almost
twelve months ago.
Nexium is an esomeprazole salt
used to treat reflux oesophagitis
