Best of the best in pharmacy receive recognition at APP2023.
The Pharmacy Guild has just announced the winners of the 2023 Pharmacy of the Year awards,with Pharmacy 777 Shoalwater in Western Australia taking out the overall prize, along with the Excellence in Community Engagement category.
The other category winners were Wholelife Pharmacy Pease Street in Victoria which won for Excellence in Business Management, while Thursday Island Pharmacy in North Queensland won the Excellence in Professional Innovation award.
Ouyen Pharmacy in Victoria received the new “highly commended” award which highlights pharmacies that truly represent the Guild Framework for Change.
The highly anticipated awards were unveiled during the opening session of the conference on the Gold Coast. After limitations imposed by the pandemic in recent years, the 2023 judging returned to on-site inspection of all six pharmacies selected as finalists from more than 500 nominations.
