Ramsay Healthcare full year revenue up 7% in Australia.
The Australian arm of Ramsay Healthcare grew earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) by 13.6% in the year to June 30, off revenue growth of 7% driven by strong demand and brownfield developments.
Growth in admissions and procedural volumes in Ramsay’s Australian business delivered strong revenue and EBIT growth, while its international businesses performed well in their own challenging environments, the company stated.
Ramsay’s equity accounted share of the Asian joint venture with Sime Darby was up 31.9% to $13.1m.
The UK business matched expectations with operating profit (EBITDAR) up 1.7% to £113.9 million.
France’s Generale de Sante hospitals demonstrated some resilience in the challenging tariff environment with revenue up 0.3% and EBITDAR up 0.5% to €448.3 million. The company said this was due to a focus on operational efficiencies.
The overall picture reveals EBITDA up 2.6% to $1.256 billion and shareholders diluted earnings per share after CARES dividend are up for the full year 8.7% over the previous period to 234.9c.
