CPD process to be used.
The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) has finalised the accreditation standards for pharmacists’ vaccination training courses.
Following public consultation, the APC said the best method for accreditation was via the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) process and the finalised standards would be provided to CPD accrediting organisations for use.
This would include all monitoring requirements already in place, the Council said.
The Council said the Pharmacy Board of Australia had supported the standards.
