PHARMACISTS registered in NSW and the ACT are being invited to nominate to join the Board of professional indemnity insurer, Pharmaceutical Defence Limited (PDL).
The organisation announced that casual vacancy will exist from 01 Jul until its annual general meeting in 2025, with current NSW/ACT Director, Curtis Ruhnau, retiring at the end of the Financial Year.
To be eligible for the position, candidates must hold unrestricted general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), be a financial member of PDL, have a sound understanding of corporate governance, and commit to PDL Board protocols.
The role involves governance responsibilities encompassing legal, ethical, fiduciary and financial aspects of the organisation, with the successful candidate also representing PDL at events within NSW and the ACT.
