REGISTRATION for the new
Pharmacy Guild of Australia
national conference, Pharmacy
Connect, set to take place 09-10
Sep in Sydney, is now open.
Delegates who register online
before 01 Jun go into the draw to
win three nights’ accommodation
at Four Points by Sheraton Sydney,
Darling Harbour.
The Guild said the event
is intended to replicate the
components of the Australian
Pharmacy Professional Conference
(APP), and where the Guild can
launch initiatives from the Sixth
Community Pharmacy Agreement,
along with private initiatives.
This has been in response to
needs identified by pharmacy
owners, managers and industry
manufacturers for a conference in
the second half of the year.
Open to pharmacists, pharmacy
owners, pharmacy staff, pharmacy
group executives, pharmacy
managers, interns and students,
Pharmacy Connect will include
future-focused business and
clinical education sessions, a trade
exhibition with 60+ exhibitors,
welcome reception and gala dinner.
Specifically, the conference
promises to provide industry trends
and updates, business growth and
management guidance, direction
for extension of professional
services, clinical updates as well
as networking and mentoring
opportunities, the Guild said.
