THE latest issue of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists' Pharmacy Growth, Research, Innovation and Training (Pharmacy GRIT) features a special student supplement, ahead of the inaugural SHPA-NAPSA Student Symposium this week.
The 20-page supplement provides a snapshot of the research being undertaken by pharmacy students and interns across the country, "showing what's possible when early-career energy is embraced by leadership," said SHPA chief executive Kristin Michaels.
The Winter 2018 issue also features articles on emergency resuscitation, case studies on the SHPA Residency Program and a guest editorial from community pharmacist Elise Apolloni on her Advancing Practice journey.
The SHPA-NAPSA Symposium this Fri in Melbourne has had an overwhelming response, according to Michaels, who said the turnout demonstrated how engaged and energised pharmacy students are to maximise their impact on pharmacy practice and patient care.
