THE Pharmaceutical Society of Australia is reminding pharmacists that staff and unsupervised volunteers of residential, community and flexible care services, which are funded under the Aged Care Act 1997, have to undergo a police check every three years. The National Criminal History Check determines a staffers suitability to work in the aged care sector. For more info see www.psa.org.au.
