This week’s RGH Pharmacy E-Bulletin gives an update on the use of varenicline and neuropsychiatric adverse effects (AEs), citing recent reviews which clarified that even patients with pre-existing psychiatric conditions, do not appear to be at increased risk of neuropsychiatric AEs when attempting smoking cessation aided by the use of varenicline.
