MEDSALV is appealing to pharmacies and hospitals to ditch a throwaway culture of single-use medical devices and send them to its new Victorian remanufacturing plant.

Hunt said medical device manufacturers should consider sustainability and end-of-life during the initial production, which would allow more products to be safely reused, recycled or remanufactured.
