The Repatriation General Hospital Pharmacy E-Bulletin this week offers an overview of the use of abiraterone for castration-resistant prostate cancer. Zytiga (abiraterone acetate) works by selectively and potently inhibiting the enzyme 17alphadehydroxylase/ C17,20-lyase, and was PBS-approved in Aug this year.
