SA Scholarships

FORTY five country SA students have been awarded scholarships to study healthcare, by the State Government and Country Health SA. The scholarships amount to $433,500 and will allow the students to study in a variety of fields including medicine, allied health and nursing. “These scholarships help people from country areas gain professional qualifications and we hope many will stay with their local health service,” said the Minister for Health and Ageing John Hill. In return for the funding, the students must agree to work in country health for a term equal to the length of their scholarship.
