THE Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) has unveiled a new app-based platform, 'Communities', set to launch next month.
The initiative, part of SHPA's Transformation 2024 agenda, aims to enhance communication among its members who can host clinical discussions supported by alerts and notifications.
SHPA President Tom Simpson highlighted the platform's role in meeting the needs of SHPA's growing membership, supporting advanced pharmacy practices, and improving patient care.
"Communities puts specialty practice in your pocket as it's an intuitive online base for members to engage with each other across the spectrum of experience and practice, while shaping education and driving change at policy level," he said.
