HOSPITAL pharmacists, technicians and students affected by the bushfires across NSW are being urged to contact the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA).
In a message to members, SHPA NSW Branch Chair, Aryan Shahabi-Sirjani, expresses the Society's sympathy to those affected by the crisis.
"Thank you to all pharmacists, technicians and students who have served their communities of our profession to the wellbeing of all people," he said.
"While there is uncertainty of the progress of conditions for the remainder of the summer, we are hoping many affected communities are now on a recovery pathway.
"With this we understand many hospital pharmacists are experiencing incredible amounts of emotional, physical, financial and workforce stresses.
"I'd like to reinforce that the SHPA NSW Branch and the Society as a whole, are here to support members throughout all times of need."
The Pharmacists' Support Service is also available to help those in need on 1300 244 910.
