HEALTH Minister Peter Dutton
has said the government hoped to
“support” community pharmacies
in the negotiations for the next
Community Pharmacy Agreement.
In an interview with Lateline,
Dutton also reaffirmed that Coles
and Woolworths would be kept out
of pharmacy ownership, and that
location and ownership rules would
not change, saying the government
believed pharmacy ownership at a
community level was an “important
policy” for it to adopt ongoing.
