A NEW study published last week
in the Annals of Pharmacotherapy
demonstrated no significant
increased heart attack risk in older
men treated with an intramuscular
form of testosterone.
The study out of Texas, US
involved more than 24,000 patients
being treated between Jan 1997
and Dec 2005.
Further, the data showed that
testosterone was associated with
a possible protective effect, a
reduced risk of heart attack.
