THE Aussie Gelatin Company has committed to a court-enforced undertaking to comply with laws relating to advertising, manufacturing and supply of TGA listed products.
The order follows alleged unlawful activity over an 18-month period from May 2023 to Nov 2024 where The Aussie Geletin Company was accused of advertising its Nutraviva Bone and Joint Formula products in contravention of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.
The transgression relates to the products containing a prescription-only strength of vitamin D3 and not being listed Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods at the time.
The order is enforceable for three years and requires the recall of unregistered goods.
