that Colgate and Oral-B are the
dominant toothbrush brands in
Australia, with little impact over
the last three years by “private
label offerings” hoping to challenge
their dominance.
80% of people brushed mostly
with a manual toothbrush, while
17% opted for a battery or electric
powered model.
90% of those surveyed bought
toothbrushes from a supermarket
or discount store, while just 7%
