UK cancer windfall

THE UK National Health Service has announced it will pump an extra £50 million into the health system to grant cancer sufferers greater access to “innovative new cancer drugs”. The funding windfall comes after a damning report which found the UKs uptake of new drugs had fallen well behind that of other European nations.
