US dental probe

THE US Food and Drug Administration has announced plans for an ‘advisory panel’ later this year to discuss scientific issues which may affect the regulation of dental amalgam. The meeting will particulaly focus on the potential risk to vulnerable populations such as pregnant women and young children.
