Vimpat now on PBS

ANTI epilepsy drug Vimpat (lacosamide) is now available under the PBS for Australians with epilepsy who have not responded to other medications. It’s an authority-required benefit which is estimated to cost the PBS about $16 million over the next five years, with the announcement coinciding with the start of National Epilepsy Awareness Week.
