TERRY White Chemists Group co-founder Rhonda White has been appointed as the inaugural Pro Chancellor of Griffith University.
White has played a significant role as a member of the Griffith Council for the last five years, with the establishment of the new Pro Chancellor position aiming to assist the university's Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor to manage the workload associated with key ceremonial duties including officiating at graduation ceremonies and other important engagements.
She graduated as a pharmacist from the Queensland University of Technology in 1963 and also holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Psychology, an Honorary Doctorate from Queensland University of Technology (PD 20 Dec 2016) as well as ownership in four pharmacies.
White has been appointed to the new role for a two year term through until Aug 2020.
