WOUNDS Australia has announced a number of free webinars set to take place during Wound Awareness Week from 04 to 10 Sep.
There will be six webinars in all with topics ranging from 'Caring for Wounds in Ageing Australians' to 'Wounds and Lifestyle Factors' and 'Getting Wound Care Right'.
On Fri 08 Sep there will be a trivia webinar focusing on fundamental wound care.
Wound Awareness Week has been set up to support the more than 450,000 Australians who are living with hard-to-heal wounds.
Currently wounds cost Australia's health and aged care budgets more than $6 billion annually.
The webinars will take place at 12pm AEST every day with an additional one at 5pm on 07 Sep - interested professionals can register here.
