MEDICINES Australia has announced the appointment of award-winning journalist and author Liam Houlihan as its new director of public affairs and government relations.
In addition to editorial news experience, Houlihan brings significant senior political capability to the organisation, having worked in health policy as the chief of staff to former NDIS minister Bill Shorten from 2019 to 2024.
Houlihan commenced the role today.
