urged Federal Parliament to pass
legislation which will create the
Medical Research Future Fund
(MRFF), in a submission which also
recommends close engagement
with Australia’s medicines industry.
MA ceo Tim James said the MRFF
would help grow Australian exports
and generate dividends right across
the community, but to ensure the
greatest value “it’s important that
government collaborates with
industry to discuss and develop
how to leverage growth in medical
research funding to ensure we can
commercialise it for the benefit of
Australia and build our innovative
