THE Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is currently seeking applications to join its body as a director (councillor).
Two Community member Councillors' terms of appointments will conclude in May 2018, with replacements sought for a term of three years.
The application process will take into account industry skills, personal attributes and demonstrated company governance experience.
Prospective councillors should also have an understanding of the health sector and the role of the pharmacist.
APC's mission is to "maintain the high standards of pharmacy education and assess the competency of Australian intern and overseas pharmacists as part of our role to protect the public".
Applications for the roles close at midnight AEDT on 25 Feb 2018.
