BLACKMORES executive director Marcus Blackmore has been named as the Ernst & Young 2018 Champion of Entrepreneurship for the eastern region of Australia.
The accolade was awarded last week at the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards, with Blackmore cited for his "sustained, outstanding entrepreneurial achievement".
The program launched in Australia in 2001 and since then has recognised more than 1,500 people for their vision and achievement.
Blackmore said his entrepreneurial journey had been "about taking lessons from others and acknowledging the importance of learning from failures".
Other previous winners of the award include Terry White Chemists founder Terry White AO.
