A new program teaching high school students about the chronic menstrual health disorder endometriosis is set to launch in South Australia.
The SA State and Federal Governments will each provide $140,000 for the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia to run the Periods, Pain, Endometriosis Program (PPEP) Talk in high schools across the state.
The program is supported by the National Action Plan for Endometriosis which was launched by Health Minister Greg Hunt earlier this year.
