THE Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) has received a record total of 733 abstracts submitted for its upcoming Medicines Management 2018 conference, after a late surge in submissions last week.
That was more than 15% higher than the previous record set in 2015, with SHPA said it shows "an unprecedented level of enthusiasm from Australian hospital pharmacists and technicians to showcase their innovation".
MM2018 takes place this Nov in Brisbane, with a three-day program of presentations and posters along with several lead-in workshops.
"Delegates have a unique opportunity to gain a professional edge in advanced leadership or in research, or to accelerate specialty development," she said.
