THE Australian Medical Association has described a consultation by the COAG Health Council on the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS) as a "squandered opportunity".
AMA's response to the review's consultation document says it is a "grab-bag of poorly thought-out ideas," urging improvements to mandatory reporting processes and handling of notifications.
