MONASH Health Chairman, former President of the Pharmacy Guild of Victoria and prominent pharmacist Dipak Sanghvi (pictured) has been inducted into the prestigious Amcal Hall of Fame on the opening night of the Amcal Guardian Retail conference being held on the Gold Coast.
Sigma Healthcare CEO Mark Hooper personally thanked Dipak, who has been a loyal and dedicated Amcal member and Sigma supporter for over 40 years.
Dipak opened his first Amcal store in 1979 and still runs four pharmacies in Australia.
There was also an inductee into the Guardian Hall of Fame - John Branchi, 70, started his first pharmacy in 1970 and launched the Guardian brand in WA a little later.
He still works with his wife and two sons, also pharmacists.
