THE Ahpra Accreditation Committee has recently unveiled its Interprofessional Collaborative Practice Statement of Intent aimed at integrating collaborative practice throughout the varied healthcare sectors.
The initiative promises to bring professionals from varied healthcare backgrounds together to deliver quality, discrimination-free care.
The committee stated that the initiative garnered support from a diverse array of 53 stakeholders, who have pledged to foster a unified approach to healthcare, and is aimed at reducing racism and discrimination for better patient outcomes.
