A MELBOURNE tenant has become seriously disgruntled after his stingy landlord installed a coin-operated flush on the toilet in his apartment.
The ticked off renter took to Reddit to ask if what his landlord had done was even legal.
"'I understand in our laundry having to pay for the communal washing machine. But I pay the water bill that goes into my apartment," he wrote.
He vented his frustration at having to sacrifice $1 per flush.
He went on to comment on the how awkward it was when he had guests over who didn't have a coin handy to pay for the privilege of pushing the flush button.
The tenant said he would be seeking legal advice.
JUMPING for joy isn't always a good idea.
A prime example of that fact is an inmate at the Douglas Country Correction Centre in Nebraska who knocked herself out on the top of her cell while leaping in celebration of news that she was to be released from prison.
According to 911 dispatch reports she was taken by ambulance to Creighton University Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
We expect her next jump for joy will be in a more spacious room.
