SYDNEY-BASED company, Aidacare Pty Ltd, has been fined $26,640, in relation to alleged breaches of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989.
The Therapeutic Good Administration (TGA) revealed the company failed to provide information relating to face masks and respirators listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG) as part of a post-market review.
The TGA noted that under the Act, importers and manufacturers of products listed on the ARTG must facilitate access to technical documentation to demonstrate compliance as requested.
