global health organisations in
signing a new “Ethical principles
of health care in times of armed
conflict and other emergencies”
code of behaviour.
The first-of-its-kind code follows
information gathered by the Red
Cross showing that in times of
war healthcare workers are often
coerced into acting unethically.
