FLUCELVAX QUAD, a cell-based flu vaccine by CSL Seqirus, is now on the National Immunisation Program (NIP).
The move aims to shield Australians at an increased risk of flu complications by offering the vaccine free of charge.
Unlike traditional egg-based vaccines, cell-based vaccines such as Flucelvax QUAD utilise mammalian cells to grow influenza viruses.
