A dog-owner in England has
been forced to defend what has
been described as “extremely
dangerous” actions after he dived
into a frozen lake to rescue his dog.
48-year old Malcom Jarvis and
his family were walking near a
frozen lake in Essex when their
beloved Jack Russel pup Bentley
fell into its frozen depths.
Jarvis described his horror
saying “We were watching his
little head sink lower and lower in
the water and he was getting
tired and slowing down because
of the cold”
Not wanting to see his dog drown,
Jarvis stripped to his underwear
and dived into the lake, grabbing
Bentley and hoisting him up onto
the edge of the lake before
getting himself out.
“Any dog owner would do the
same,” he said. The above article was sent to subscribers in Pharmacy Daily's issue from 16 Feb 12 To see the full newsletter, see the embedded issue below or CLICK HERE to download Pharmacy Daily from 16 Feb 12
