KEY findings from the Feb/Mar 2025 Attain Pharmacy Market Sentiment Survey suggest a positive outlook overall for pharmacy sales.
Attain, business brokers specialising in pharmacy, surveyed 49 pharmacists and pharmacy owners in the most recent iteration of its four-monthly survey.
Around 48% of those surveyed said they were looking to buy a pharmacy within the next five years, around 58% were looking to sell a pharmacy and 57% said they believed pharmacy business prices will increase over the next 12 months.
"The results from the Feb/Mar 2025 Pharmacy Market Sentiment Survey show that the market sentiment is remaining strong since the signing of the 8CPA," said Attain Director Natalie Sirianni.
"The vast majority of pharmacist participants are expecting pharmacy business sales prices to increase over the next 12 months, and data shows strong demand from buyers," she added.
