THE Federal Department of Human Services has advised of shorter payment cycles for PBS online payments.
Approved suppliers of PBS and RPBS medicines who make claims online will receive funds within two to nine days, with the changes to be implemented from 29 Mar 2019.
For example claims submitted between 29 Mar and 03 Apr will be paid on Fri 05 Apr, while claims submitted between 04 and 10 Apr will be paid on Fri 12 Apr.
Claims submitted before 29 Mar will be paid using the current cycle time of nine to 16 days.
